I was engaged for a design discovery exercise for a department within the Victorian State Government to produce a concept for a complete re-think of their plans and permits electronic lodgment application.

This project involved taking the existing application and usage data with user and stakeholders interviews to develop a completely new user experience focused on simplicity and speed of use.

Core responsibilities:

• Analyse and compile existing user data and business pain points with existing UI

• Produce full wireframes of updated workflow design including updated navigation and bringing core functions to the front such as search and actions for different user types

• Develop a new UI layer from updated branding guidelines and produce a style guide that could be applied to other applications and tools
